I'm a mother to six amazing children and a wife to my best friend. The desire to create beauty is something engrained deep inside me. Photography was my first love, but I also enjoy ceramics, interior design, singing, cooking and all sorts of crafting.

Hi! I'm Madelyn. I'm a wife, mother and photographer. There's more to me, but I'll stick to those for now. My dad is to blame for my love of Photography. He's a hobbyist photographer and when I was 12, he started letting me tag along to his photoshoots.
As a child, I dreamed of being a National Geographic Photographer. I even asked for a subscription to their magazine for Christmas one year. As it turns out, that job isn't very family friendly, so I'm quite content simply being a photographer.
Actually, I'm more than content. I feel so lucky that I'm able to get paid to do something I love so much! With just a click of a button, I'm able to freeze time and make a memory last forever.
That moment when a lovely bride stands at the end of the aisle looking at her soon to be husband with tears in their eyes. A mother holding her brand new baby. A family having a tickle fight in a field. These are the moments I live for.
One of my favorite things is using light to bring out emotion in my pictures. I'm a romantic at heart and enjoy capturing people's fairytales. As you can tell, photography is more than just taking pictures to me. It may be my job, but it's also my passion.
